PUBLIC SPEAKING

Public speaking has become one of the most meaningful parts of my work. I believe genuine change begins with honest conversations — and that those conversations become most powerful when people feel seen, understood, and able to speak openly without judgement.

I deliver talks and workshops for schools, universities, sports organisations, and wider institutions focused on mental health awareness, emotional wellbeing, resilience, and suicide prevention. Every session is tailored to the audience, whether speaking to young athletes, students, educators, parents, or professionals, because effective mental health education should reflect the people in the room.

My work combines lived experience with evidence-informed discussion, drawing not only from personal challenges, but also from my background in sport, filmmaking, advocacy, and academic study within sport and exercise science. A particular focus of my work is the growing issue of youth suicide and the barriers that prevent people — especially young men — from seeking support early.

Through storytelling, reflection, and practical discussion, I aim to make conversations around mental health more accessible, relatable, and impactful. My goal is not simply to raise awareness, but to help create environments where people feel safer speaking honestly, recognising struggles earlier, and supporting one another more effectively.

I have delivered talks for schools and organisations internationally, including invitations connected to my work in mental health advocacy and filmmaking, and I continue to work with institutions that want to prioritise student wellbeing and meaningful cultural change.

My message remains simple:
education, openness, and human connection can genuinely save lives.

If you are interested in booking a talk, workshop, or collaboration, I would be honoured to work with you.
